Project Review
Cherished Cherubs is a Perth based babysitting agency focused on providing personalised services to Perth families at home, in hotels, at events and businesses. Their old website had been built over 10 years ago on Joomla. It was outdated and very difficult for the business to make any updates themselves. Despite the technical challenges in the backend, the website was ranking well on Google. We needed to be mindful and diligent with how we approached the SEO and roll out of this site, to limit any disruption. We were delighted that the site continues to rank well, and in fact better for critical keywords, helping position them as the leading and trusted babysitter that they are in Perth.
As part of this website project, the new design focused on creating a modern, mobile friendly and professional looking feel that better reflected the quality service provided by the Cherished Cherubs team. We moved the website over to WordPress allowing the team to be able to manage changes on the site themselves. We switched from shared cloud-based hosting to their own dedicated server. We also wrote new content for the homepage, service pages and expanded on other content and selected new images to assist with SEO and create a more engaging experience for visitors. Finally, we transitioned over 70 blog posts and setup new enquiry and booking forms to capture critical information to help streamline their internal operations for leads and bookings.
We absolutely loved working on this project! Lisa was open to our ideas on what we know works and she’s already experiencing even more success as a result, even in the middle of covid hitting Perth.
